Who am I?
Good question. BIG question!
Let´s keep it simple: I danced out of my mother's belly and still doing so... that was about 3o years ago.
My name is Kat/Katze and I´m a non-binary, multi-ethnical, able-bodied human that for now loves walking the path of performing arts, collecting herbs, writing songs and making other people shine. I feel very alive and comfortable in holding spaces for people to explore themselves and their essences and it comes very naturally that I feel joy while doing so.
I facilitated multiple workshops and movement classes over the past 10 years be it on physical theatre, twerking, free dance, body awareness or encountering each other.
I hold a pedagogical degree and finished the mixed-abled dance education by DIN A 13 company, which tought me a lot about bodies- including my own, about ableism, bodies and how vast the term "dance" is and the many worlds it opens.
My main performative base lies in cabaret, music, clowning and different dance styles, all of which I studied and worked in over 12 years. I like mixing the beautiful tools that life and my teachers gave me, to create spaces in which we can encounter ourselves and connect with each other with kindness, honesty, playfulness and realness.
