E: You can join with any level you´re at really. Since Erotic Clowning is a practice for your personal story, your professional level is not of relevance here. It´s more the inner readyness and interest to attend that makes it valuable. It´s a space that offers you to discover however much you want- there´s nothing that you need to do and any level of (life) experience is welcome. 

P.S.: It can certainly help you on a professional artistic level to inspire you, learn more about yourself and specify your skills.

Why is Erotic Clowning for women, non-binary and genderqueers only? 

I did my research from the point of view of a non-binary person "socialised female" within a western society. 

I designed and researched for Erotic Clowning specifically with women and genderqueer people being "socialised female" in mind. The last brings a variety of narratives from media, social pressures and a set of expectations that one is being assigned to by the binary concept. For many people it means stress, fears and censorship of specific movements or even whole parts of themselves.

As the facilitator I owe to provide a safer space for the participants. Specifying the audience arose from check-in with myself: in what space can I offer my work best at the moment? 

Though I would love to live in a world at some point where we do not distinguish and „worry“ about gender at all anymore, the fact is still very different. 
Coming together we are certainly all very different people, yet the experience of having been "socialised female" is in my view a very specific one- no matter whether this concept has been  internalised or refused or at which age one was/is confronted with it. 
Right now I feel committed to give space for those people´s voices and bodies. 

For cis-men: In case the above got your interest, I have an awesome clown friend named Richard Kimberley who has a workshop called "the male idiot" using gestalt therapy and clowning to work on masculinity so if you are interested- Richard is the right person for sure.

I want to emphazise my efforts, to find ways to facilitate Erotic Clowning for all genders cause I believe there can be something very connecting and healing in that. 

Can you explain the Payment and Refund system once again please? 

Sure:
1. When you register for the Workshop, you´ll receive the invoice for food & accomodation. As soon as the money got transfered, your spot is reserved!
2. If you can not come after all and need to cancel: Either you cancel one month before the event and get a full refund of the accomodation & food fee. If you cancel less than a month, there will be no refund possible- Exception: you find a person that takes your spot.
3. In case I cancel the course, you´ll be fully refunded of course.  

Workshop fee
In the specific event you can see the guideline pricing. 
On the last day of the Workshop, we´ll share our impressions within the group and everyone individually decides the price they want to pay for the workshop. We´ll make a contract that you'll transfer the money within a given time and Voila! 
It´s another sort of sliding scale principle. 

What language will the course be in?

I´m fluent in english and german and russian and gibberish. So any of the languages could be part of the course. Mostly depending on what the participants need within the course. You can write me your preferred language in the registration. 

What is Erotic Clowning not?

It´s not a space that tells you who and how to be. 

It´s not a space that welcomes comparison and destructive competition. 

It´s not welcoming any kind of bullshit racist, sexists, ableist or any other kind of discrimination.
